LDC accessibility website design for learning disability UGA university department

Project: Learning Disabilities Center

Launch Date: October 2001

Objective: The Learning Disabilities Center of The University of Georiga sought to redesign their existing web site to provide a modern interface with advanced usability, navigation, design and accessibility for the learning disabled.

Solution: Eo Studios was chosen to develop the new website. First, we evaluated the previous site to identify shortcomings in design and usability. Once identified, we detailed a strategy to restructure content within a modern, dynamic interface.

LDC web site design, accessible by the learning disabled, health care solution

The LDC target audience includes UGA faculty, students and prospective students with learning disabilities. The site design meets the WWC accessibility guidelines to provide users access via screen readers. We photographed LDC faculty and students in educational settings and incorporated these images throughout the web site. The unique purple/green/golden color scheme reflects LDC's unique identity and services.
